An essay is presented on the unbinding textual possibilities in William Carlos Williams's poem "Composition." It provides an overview of the ideas of Peter Schmidt and Marjorie Perloff regarding the poem wherein they argue that the poem is thoroughly antimimetic because it is so self-contradictory. Furthermore, the avant-gardes and Dadaist are also discussed.
